How to choose your photographer

1Look at one whole weddingA pick of ten perfect photos tells you nothing. Ask for a full gallery, from the morning to the last song.
2Check who turns up on the dayIn some studios, the person you meet is not the one who will shoot. Get it in writing.
3Talk about the delivery timeTwo weeks or six months changes everything. And have the number of retouched images spelled out.
4Test the chemistryYou are going to spend twelve hours with this person, in your most intimate moments. The feeling counts as much as the portfolio.
5Ask about the rightsCan you print, publish, give them away? Some contracts limit use, better to know beforehand.
