The photographer who will tell your day as it really was

Reportage, drone, video, duo. The photographers and videographers in the directory, with their real images.

23 approved studios 7 criteria 6 provinces

This is the only supplier whose work will outlive you. The cake will be eaten, the flowers will wilt, the room will be handed back the next day. The images are what will still be here in ten years. We sort them here by what they actually do: some only shoot photos, others come as a pair, others add the drone or video.

What exactly are you looking for?

What each studio actually offers, and how many are available behind it.

Or by province

Supply is not spread evenly across the provinces. That is why the province is a filter here, and not a page of its own.

How to choose your photographer

  1. 1Look at one whole weddingA pick of ten perfect photos tells you nothing. Ask for a full gallery, from the morning to the last song.
  2. 2Check who turns up on the dayIn some studios, the person you meet is not the one who will shoot. Get it in writing.
  3. 3Talk about the delivery timeTwo weeks or six months changes everything. And have the number of retouched images spelled out.
  4. 4Test the chemistryYou are going to spend twelve hours with this person, in your most intimate moments. The feeling counts as much as the portfolio.
  5. 5Ask about the rightsCan you print, publish, give them away? Some contracts limit use, better to know beforehand.

The five questions to ask before signing

  • How many edited photos are delivered, and how soon?
  • Who exactly will be shooting on the big day, and is there a second photographer?
  • What happens if you are unable to come at the last minute?
  • Is scouting the venue included?
  • What usage rights do I get on the images?

What it costs

From 1 200 € for a half day to 3 500 € and up for full coverage with a second photographer and video.

Measured in the database on 16 August: 21 of the 23 studios show a starting price. It runs from 120 € to 3 000 €, with half of them above 1 000 €. That is a starting price, not the cost of a full day.

What's moving right now

  • ·Unposed reportage, replacing the formal shoot.
  • ·Photo and video with the same supplier, for a single point of contact.
  • ·The drone, now common at venues with grounds.
  • ·An engagement shoot beforehand, to be at ease with the lens on the day.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a wedding photographer cost in Belgium?

Budget between €1 200 and €3 500 depending on length, number of people involved and video. Editorial range, not recalculated from the database.

Do you need a separate photographer and videographer?

Not necessarily. Several studios in the directory come as a pair and deliver both, which makes coordination on the day simpler.

When should you book your photographer?

Often 12 months ahead. The busiest studios block out summer Saturdays very early.

Are drones allowed everywhere?

No. Some areas are regulated and some venues ban it. The studio knows, so ask.
