An evening does not hold itself together. Between dessert and the first track there is a lull, and that is where everything is decided. We sort the entertainers here by what they bring, from the photobooth to a full show.

How to choose your entertainment

  1. 1Place the entertainment inside the eveningThe lull after dessert is the critical moment. That is where entertainment saves an evening.

  4. 4Count the setup timeSome setups start two hours before. Check that the venue is accessible.

The five questions to ask

  • How long does the service last, set-up and take-down included?
  • How much space and which power sockets do you need?
  • At what point in the evening do you ideally come in?
  • What happens if the schedule slips by an hour?
  • Is the equipment insured, and by whom?

Do you really need entertainment?

No. But the after-dessert lull happens at almost every reception, and that is the one you are trying to fill.

When should you book?

4 to 6 months ahead is enough for most entertainment.

Is a photobooth worth it?

It is the most requested act in the directory. It keeps guests busy between two moments and leaves them something to take home.
