SummaryWEWED puts people in touch. The company does not organise the event and is not a party to the contract entered into with a vendor.
The purpose of these terms is to define the rights and obligations of WEWED SRL (hereinafter “WEWED”), CBE no. 1033.891.623, in its capacity as a digital service provider operating a matchmaking platform, and of the users of the WEWED platform (hereinafter the “Users”). WEWED provides no event services, takes no part in organising events and does not intervene in the conclusion or performance of the contracts entered into between Users and Vendors. Every User acknowledges having read these terms prior to any use of the platform and accepts them without reservation.
SummaryFilters, indicative budgets and results are search tools, not personalised advice. The information comes from the vendors themselves.
The purpose of the WEWED platform is to allow Users to search for, consult and contact Vendors active in the events sector. The tools offered by the platform (filters, search criteria, indicative budgets, displayed results) are search aids and may in no case be treated as personalised advice or as a recommendation.
WEWED collects certain information from Vendors and makes it available to Users for information purposes only. WEWED warrants neither the accuracy, nor the completeness, nor the currency of that information, but undertakes to act professionally and to take reasonable steps when manifestly incorrect information is reported to it.
SummaryMessages are confidential. Technical access exists for maintenance, security, moderation and disputes. A vendor’s reply is not guaranteed.
WEWED provides Users with an internal messaging tool to facilitate exchanges with Vendors.
Exchanges through the internal messaging tool are, in principle, confidential between the User and the Vendor.
WEWED may nonetheless have technical access to conversations, solely for technical, maintenance, security or moderation reasons, or in the event of a report or a dispute, without intervening in the content of the exchanges and without becoming a party to the contractual relationship.
WEWED warrants neither that Vendors will read messages, nor what action will be taken on them, and cannot be held liable for the content or the consequences of exchanges between Users and Vendors.
SummaryNo payment passes through the platform. Settlement is made directly with the vendor.
No payment, deposit or refund relating to Vendors’ services is made through the WEWED platform.
WEWED plays no part whatsoever in setting prices, payment terms or the financial performance of contracts entered into between Users and Vendors.
SummaryIn the event of a dispute with a vendor, a cancellation, a delay or non-performance, recourse is against that vendor and not against WEWED.
WEWED acts solely as a technical intermediary putting parties in touch.
WEWED is not a party to the contracts entered into between Users and Vendors and does not intervene at any stage of their contractual relationship.
WEWED may in no case be held liable for disputes, cancellations, postponements, non-performance, dissatisfaction or damage, whether direct or indirect, arising from the relationship between a User and a Vendor, even where the exchanges took place through the platform.
WEWED cannot be held liable for temporary interruptions of the platform, in particular for maintenance, updates or force majeure.
SummaryData is hosted in the European Union. WEWED is the controller for the user account; the vendor is the controller for what it receives. Details in the privacy policy.
WEWED acts as controller for the personal data relating to the management of User accounts, to the use of the platform and to the internal messaging tool.
Messages exchanged through the platform may contain personal data, including sensitive data. That data is processed confidentially and hosted on servers located in the European Union or the European Economic Area.
The Vendor acts as an independent controller for the data it receives directly from Users in the course of their exchanges.
WEWED undertakes not to transfer data outside the European Union without appropriate safeguards in accordance with the GDPR.
SummaryThe platform belongs to WEWED. Content posted remains the property of its author. Extraction of the database is prohibited.
All the elements making up the platform, in particular the software, source code, databases, structures, interfaces, texts, graphics, logos, trade marks, domain names and editorial content, are the exclusive property of WEWED or of its licensors and are protected by the intellectual property rights in force.
The User retains all intellectual property rights in the content it posts on the platform.
The User is strictly prohibited from reproducing, extracting, re-using or exploiting the platform or its databases, in whole or in part, by any means whatsoever, without WEWED’s prior written authorisation. Any use not expressly authorised is prohibited.
SummaryThe terms may be amended. Any substantial change is notified; continued use constitutes acceptance.
WEWED reserves the right to amend these terms at any time, in particular to take account of:
- changes to the platform or its features;
- changes to the applicable legislation or regulations;
- or any court decision or recommendation of a competent authority.
Users will be informed of any substantial amendment to these terms by any appropriate means, in particular through the platform or by electronic means.
The amended terms take effect from the moment they are published online. Continued use of the platform after the amended terms take effect constitutes acceptance of them by the User.
SummaryExclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Charleroi. The nullity of one article does not entail that of these terms.
Any dispute concerning the interpretation of these terms falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Charleroi.
The nullity of an article of this agreement, or of part of an article, does not entail the nullity of these terms as a whole. If an article is wholly or partly void, it shall be replaced by a valid article coming as close as possible, in its legal and economic effects, to the void clause, so that the Parties may be deemed to have contracted on those terms.
