Three answers
A maybe is not a yes, and neither is silence. All three are counted separately, so that the number you give the caterer is a real number.
The number for the caterer is read off the first line, not off the total number of invitations.
What comes next
As soon as a household answers yes, it appears in the seating plan, not seated yet but ready to be. You do not have two lists to keep.

The questions
How your guests reply, what happens without their email address, and what you can export for the caterer.
No account and no password. You trigger the send, your guest opens the link received by email and says whether they are coming, whether they are not coming, or that they do not know yet.
You can create an entry with the name alone, the email and the phone number are optional. Without an address, no link is sent, and you note the answer yourself.
One card per household, and inside it one line per person, the partner and each child. The counters show both, the number of cards and the number of people.
Yes, for each entry you choose the moments, ceremony, drinks reception, dinner, evening party. The seating plan then keeps only the people invited to the dinner.
Their link stays valid for 90 days, they reopen it with their answer already ticked and send a different one. On your side, you can correct the status by hand, person by person.
Yes, a PDF button outputs the list with the group, the contact, the number of children, the answer and the dietary requirements, one line per household. There is no spreadsheet export and no contact import yet.
